On 9 May 2026, our very own Mel Kalfanti, Festival Curator at Positively Different Short Film Festival and PhD in Social Anthropology and Gender Studies, was hosted at Festival of Revolutions. They led a seminar/ discussion titled “Power in our Alliances: Curating Intersectionality”, exploring ways to weave diverse identities into curatorial and filmmaking work, for stronger, more inclusive movements.
The Festival of Revolutions is a one-day gathering for people working to reshape society together. It is not just a series of talks, but rather, a space to meet others doing the work, exchange ideas, and explore what practical change looks like across movements, cultures, and disciplines.
