PDSFF25 makes its first stop at Nea Paralia in Thessaloniki! It meets the Union of Tenants of Thessaloniki and discusses ways of claiming the right to land, beyond the logic of ownership and appropriation.
Screening: The fight for home (105′)
In a world where dispossession and displacement are becoming the norm, communities are struggling to find words and tools to resist a growing threat: a threat against what we call home, against memory, identity and belonging.
Building our resistances requires creativity and commitment in order to find ways to rethink and defend our relationship with the land, without reproducing arguments that are hostile and dangerous, drawn from dominant, capitalist, nationalist frames of thought.
