Metavasis Festival was organised for the third time this year, in Zakynthos. In their own words, Metavasis is not just a festival – it is an act of resistance and collective breath. It is an one-day event that combines open discussions on urgent topics (this year’s discussion topic was “Palestine: Memory, Violence, Resistance”), short film screenings, artistic interventions and music concerts, the latter being the culmination of the programme and involve bands and musicians from traditional, punk and underground music scenes that also struggle and resist in their own ways.
Positively Different Short Film Festival participated for the second year in a row, visually adding to Metavasis. We were represented by one of Inter Alia’s Members (IA Membership Programme), Stavroula Gaitani, who is part of the antama collective, the team behind Metavasis!
