Positively Different Short Film Festival, true to its goal to connect with audiences and communities in different locations in Europe and the world, traveled to Nicosia, Cyprus, for the QueerWave Festival. QueerWave is a trusted partner of PDSFF, having previously organised screenings of our awarded films (PDSFF23 edition) and having invited us to Nicosia in the past in order to build our relationship (QueerWave 2022).
This year was our first participation in the main festival program, curating the set Positively Different Shorts with queer and intersectional films from the last two editions of the festival. Mel Kalfanti presented the set and coordinated a Q&A session with present directors Marios Mettis (Tsikitigklon, the Fairy and the Man) and Dominique Preusse and Adrian Lestrat (Coffee Grapefruit Cacao).
Cyprus, see you again soon!
