Positively Different, Φεστιβάλ Ταινιών Μικρού Μήκους, 13 - 15 Φεβρουαρίου 2020, Αθήνα

Το Positively Different Short Film Festival εστιάζει στη διαθεματικότητα και τις διασταυρούμενες διακρίσεις. Ακολουθεί περίπλοκες διαδρομές στοχεύοντας να δώσει χώρο σε “αόρατες” ιστορίες να ακουστούν και να προβληθούν, ιστορίες χαρακτήρων, ανθρώπων και κοινοτήτων που αντιμετωπίζουν την περιθωριοποίηση στην κοινωνία της κανονικότητας λόγω των ταυτοτήτων που φέρουν.

Το ανοιχτό κάλεσμα για ταινίες μικρού μήκους από όλη την υφήλιο επιχειρεί να ανακαλύψει δημιουργίες που βλέπουν τον κόσμο μέσα από την σκοπιά της «άλλης» ή του «άλλου». Τα επιλεγμένα φίλμ διαγωνίζονται για 2 βραβεία – “Καλύτερης Ταινίας” και “Κοινού”, ενώ πειραματικές ταινίες νέων δημιουργών από 11 Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες που ανήκουν σε περιθωριοποιημένες ομάδες, προσφέρουν φρέσκιες ματιές εκ των έσω. Ένα πλούσιο πρόγραμμα μουσικών, θεατρικών και ποιητικών παραστάσεων συμπληρώνουν τη δράση.

Αυτό, είναι ένα διαφορετικό φεστιβάλ.

To PDSFF συστήθηκε στο κοινό με ένα ανοιχτό event, εγκαινιάζοντας τις προφεστιβαλικές του δράσεις την Παρασκευή 10 Ιανουαρίου, πριν την επίσημη έναρξη του φεστιβάλ στις 13 Φλεβάρη στο Τριανόν. Το κοινό είχε τη δυνατότητα να επιλέξει μεταξύ των πιο δυνατών υποψηφίων του διαγωνισμού τις ταινίες που θα συμπληρώσουν το επίσημο πρόγραμμα της φετινής διοργάνωσης και να συζητήσει πάνω στις θεματικές που παρουσιάστηκαν.

Το Positively Different Short Film Festival ξεκινάει με μια εκδήλωση πριν από το φεστιβάλ και σας προσκαλεί να διαμορφώσετε μαζί μας το πρόγραμμα της κύριας εκδήλωσης!

Με στόχο την ενεργό συμμετοχή του κοινού, η εκδήλωση θα παρουσιάσει μια σειρά από ταινίες που έφτασαν στο τελικό στάδιο επιλογής και θα τους δοθεί η ευκαιρία να επιλέξουν μερικούς από τους φιναλίστ.

Ελάτε μαζί μας στο Exile Room για να παρακολουθήσετε μερικές από τις δημιουργίες των ισχυρότερων υποψηφίων μας, να μοιραστούμε αυτό που οραματιζόμαστε να είναι το φεστιβάλ και να γιορτάσουμε την αρχή της επίσημης επιλογής των συμμετοχών του φετινού φεστιβάλ.

Love, Lacuna is a semi-autobiographical short film which follows the daily routines of women of colour and non-binary people of colour in the chaotic city of London. Through various streams of consciousness we see the innermost thoughts of those who are usually marginalised. The film – like the literary magazine, Lacuna – is an assertion of identity. Rather than ask for space, the Lacuna actors and writers show how space can be claimed. They show that their identities have always been here and are here to stay.

Μαρία Παραδείση

Η Μαρία Παραδείση είναι αναπληρώτρια καθηγήτρια Ιστορίας και Θεωρίας Κινηματογράφου στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας, Μέσων και Πολιτισμού του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου, στη Αθήνα. Σπούδασε Νομικά, Πολιτικές Επιστήμες και Κινηματογράφο (Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, Paris X, Paris VIII) και ολοκλήρωσε την διδακτορική της διατριβή στην Πολιτική Κοινωνιολογία το 1984 (τίτλος διατριβής: Η παρουσίαση των γυναικών στον κινηματογράφο του Χόλιγουντ).. Εργάστηκε για το ελληνικό ραδιόφωνο, την τηλεόραση και τον κινηματογράφο από το 1985 έως το 1989 και σκηνοθέτησε πλήθος ταινιών για την ελληνική τηλεόραση. Είναι συγγραφέας του βιβλίου “Κινηματογραφική αφήγηση και παραβατικότητα στον Ελληνικό Κινηματογράφο (1994-2004)” Tυπωθήτω 2006. Έχει δημοσιεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό άρθρων για τον ελληνικό κινηματογράφο και τον γυναικείο κινηματογράφο σε ελληνικά και ξένα περιοδικά και βιβλία και έχει συνεπιμεληθεί το συλλογικό τόμο Μαρία Παραδείση, Αφροδίτη ΝΙκολαΐδου (επιμ): Από τον πρώιμο στον σύγχρονο ελληνικό κινηματογράφο. Ζητήματα Μεθοδολογίας, Θεωρίας, Ιστορίας., Gutenberg 2017.

Ζακλίν Λέντζου​

Η Ζακλίν (Αθήνα, 1989), απόφοιτος της σχολής κινηματογράφου του Λονδίνου (London Film School, 2013), είναι σεναριογράφος και σκηνοθέτις. Η δουλειά της περιστρέφεται γύρω από μη παραδοσιακές οικογενειακές δομές, το κατασκεύασμα του ονείρου, την αγάπη καθώς και η έλλειψη αυτής. Οι μικρού μήκους ταινίες της έχουν διαγωνισθεί και βραβευτεί σε φεστιβάλ του εξωτερικού (ΑΛΕΠΟΥ, Λοκάρνο 2016, HIWA, Βερολίνο 2017, ΕΚΤΟΡΑΣ ΜΑΛΟ: Η ΤΕΛΕΥΤΑΙΑ ΜΕΡΑ ΤΗΣ ΧΡΟΝΙΑΣ, Κάννες 2018). Ρετροσπεκτίβες της δουλειάς της έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί σε Βιέννη, Μόντρεαλ, Νάιμεχεν. Μόλις ολοκλήρωσε τα γυρίσματα της πρώτης της μεγάλου μήκους ταινία με working title ΣΕΛΗΝΗ, 66 ΕΡΩΤΗΣΕΙΣ.

Alin Tasciyan

Η Alin γεννήθηκε το 1969 στην Κωνσταντινούπολη. Αποφοίτησε από το Πανεπιστήμιο Κωνσταντινούπολης με πτυχίο δημοσιογραφίας και δημοσίων σχέσεων το 1991. Άρχισε να εργάζεται για την Milliyet Art Review και την καθημερινή εφημερίδα Milliyet την ίδια χρονιά. Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της περιόδου εργάστηκε ως ανταποκρίτρια, κριτικός κινηματογράφου και συντάκτρια. Παράλληλα, έκανε ραδιοφωνικές και τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές, ενώ προγραμμάτιζε και παρουσίαζε τo Thematic Films Ribbon για το κανάλι ειδήσεων 24 από το 2009 έως το 2012. Εργάστηκε ως κριτικός και αρθρογράφος της καθημερινής εφημερίδας Star 2008 – 2014. Σήμερα εργάζεται ως κριτικός κινηματογράφου για το Culture & Art στο TRT2 και διατηρεί αλλά και γράφει στην ιστοσελίδα sanatatak.com. Η Alin υπήρξε σύμβουλος και μέλος των ομάδων προγραμματισμού για πληθώρα φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου, μεταξύ των οποίων το IFF της Κωνσταντινούπολης και το IFF Antlaya στην Τουρκία. Σήμερα είναι σύμβουλος του Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Γυναικών Flying Broom στην Άγκυρα και είναι επικεφαλής της ομάδας προγράμματος του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Γυναικών. Έχει υπάρξει μέλος κριτικών επιτροπών τόσο σε εθνικές όσο και διεθνείς κινηματογραφικών διοργανώσεων ενώ είναι μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου. Υπήρξε αντιπρόεδρος και πρόεδρος της FIPRESCI, Διεθνούς Ομοσπονδίας Κριτικών Κινηματογράφου μεταξύ 2009-2017. Αυτή τη στιγμή είναι Αναπληρωτής Γραμματέας του FIPRESCI.
