Βραβεία

Η κριτική επιτροπή της 7ης διοργάνωσης του φεστιβάλ, Εύα Στεφανή, Παναγιώτης Ευαγγελίδης και Σίλας Μιχάλακας, ανέδειξαν την ταινία Aldi, του Giorgi Arabuli, με το Βραβείο Καλύτερης Ταινίας και Το Καφενείο Θα Παραμείνη Κλειστό της Άννας Χρυσανθακοπούλου και της Μαγδαληνής Αλεξανδρή με το Βραβείο Καλύτερης Ελληνικής Παραγωγής. Απέδωσαν, επίσης, 2 εύφημους μνείες στις ταινίες Actually, I didn’t want to stay long του Andreas Grützner και Prelude to a Supernova του Χρήστου Αρτεμίου. Το κοινό ψήφισε την αγαπημένη του ταινία, απονέμοντας το Βραβείο Κοινού στην ταινία Prelude to a Supernova. Η επιμελητική ομάδα του PDSFF26 απένειμε το Βραβείο Επιμελητικής Ομάδας στην ταινία Maps from Within της Christina Aguilera.

H κριτική επιτροπή της 6ης έκδοσης του PDSFF, ο Θανάσης Νεοφώτιστος, η Μαρία Λούκα, ο Janis Westphal και η Karla Crnčević, απένειμαν το Βραβείο Καλύτερης Ταινίας στο Palestine Islands, των Nour Ben Salem και Julien Menanteau, και το Βραβείο Καλύτερης Ελληνικής Παραγωγής στο Honeymoon του Άλκι Παπασταθόπουλου. Απένειμαν, επίσης, 3 εύφημους μνείες στις ταινίες Pigeons are dying, when the city is on fire του Σταύρου Μαρκουλάκη, When the land runs away του Frederico Lobo και A Summer’s End Poem του Lam Can-Zhao. Το κοινό ανέδειξε, ως αγαπημένη του ταινία, το Palestine Islands, ενώ η επιμελητική ομάδα του φεστιβάλ παραχώρησε το βραβείο της στο Alles Gut του Παύλου Παρασκευόπουλου.

The jury of the 5th edition of PDSFF, Sofia Exarchou, Carol Sansour, Chipo Zhou and Tasos Melemenidis, awarded the Best Film Award to the documentary Suddenly Tv by Roopa Gogineni and the Best Greek Production Award to Good Girls Club: A Virginity Odyssey by Leda Vartzioti and Dimitris Tsakaleas. They also granted 2 honourable mentions to Raticide and Mariam by João Niza and Lionel Meta respectively. The audience voted for their favourite film, Ramazan Kilic’s Things Unheard of while the Festival’s curatorial team conferred its award to Mehtap Samiloglu’s Summer Holiday.

After four full days of screenings, discussions, meetings, laughs and tears, PDSFF23 drew to a close with an Award Ceremony and Screening of Awarded Shorts on Sunday night. The Festival’s Jury, comprised by Artemis Anastasiadou and Zacharias Mavroeidis, filmmakers, awarded the Best Film Award and the Best Greek Production Award, as well as two Honourable Mentions to one greek and one international production, the Curatorial Team of PDSFF chose the Curatorial Team “Positively Different” Award, and the audience gave the Audience Award through public voting throughout all festival screenings.
