Positively Different Short Film Festival is hosted for the second consecutive year at Herakleion Municipal Summer Cinema “Bethleem”, with some of our favourite films from this year’s edition, PDSFF26 | THE URGE!
3 beloved sets from our festival will be restructured and presented over 3 days of screenings.
Gender, sexuality, race, class, ethnicity, religion, able-bodiedness influence our present and future, life prospects and obstructions.
PDSFF focuses on their points of intersection by following the stories of characters, individuals, and communities who experience oppression because of the identities they carry. Shedding light on aspects of the life journeys of “others”—sometimes with realism and humor, and other times with abstraction and experimentation—the festival aims to provide a space for collaborative creation, networking, and forming shared demands.
